Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you take commissions?
    • Yes!  I do take a few commissions each year.  Commissions can be of people, animals, buildings, or really anything that is special to you.  If you are interested in a commission it is best to contact me as soon as possible.  Spaces fill up quickly.

  • Can I visit your studio to see your artwork?
    • My studio is in my home so I do not have a public studio or gallery that you can visit.  All of my available pieces are posted in my online store.  If there is a piece that you are interested in I can arrange for a time to view it.

  • Can I pick up my order locally?
    • Yes!  If you are local to Georgetown we can schedule a time you can pick up your order at my home.

For your peace of mind I offer a seven day return period. I want everyone who buys a piece of my art to be completely satisfied and to be able to make a purchase without worry. Once you have received the work you have seven days to live with it to make sure it is the piece for you.

If the artwork has been damaged in the mail please keep all packaging and refer to my full returns policy below for further details. I aim for your experience of working with me to be as smooth and positive as possible.

If you experience any problems at all regarding your order please email me at thistleandbrushstudio@gmail.com  and I will be happy to help.

Return Policy

Original Artwork and Art Prints Return Policy

Please unpack carefully and retain all packaging until you have decided that you are happy with your purchase.

From the time you receive your original artwork, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund (minus shipping costs).

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three (3) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you’ve purchased from Thistle and Brush Studios and are not fully satisfied, you have:

Seven (7) days to contact us about your intent to return the work

Three (3) days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork. ***Do not ship the artwork before contacting us.***

If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 3 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact us for an assessment of your specific situation.)

I am not able to offer refunds in the following cases:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
  • Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
